The recent revelation that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) collaborated with Stanford University and the University of Washington to censor political speech in the lead-up to the 2020 election has sent shockwaves through the American public. The free exchange of ideas is the cornerstone of a thriving democracy, and the unholy alliance between the government and higher education institutions poses a grave threat to our Constitutional Republic. As a result, approximately 35 percent of the flagged content was removed from social media platforms, leading to the censorship, silencing, and shadow-banning of countless American voices during the 2020 election cycle.
