International leaders gather in Nairobi to acquire essential skills and collaborate in the fight against human trafficking
The fourth international edition of the Talitha Kum leaders course took place in Nairobi from November 20th to 27th. The weeklong in-person session aimed to equip international leaders with the necessary skills to prevent human trafficking and raise awareness in Africa and around the world. The course, held in collaboration with Tangaza University College and the Pontifical University Antonianum, attracted 22 participants from 17 nations, primarily religious sisters from various congregations. The training is part of Talitha Kum, an international network of Catholic sisters established in 2009 by the International Union of Superiors General (UISG) to combat human trafficking and support survivors.
