BARC, the City of Houston’s Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, is gearing up for its annual Home for the Holidays campaign. This month-long initiative aims to find loving homes for shelter pets and provide family-friendly activities for Houston pet owners. To kick off the campaign, BARC has partnered with BISSELL Pet Foundation for the “Empty the Shelters – Holiday Hope” adoption event. PetSmart Offsite Adoption Event

On December 16-17, BARC will offer “Pictures with Santa Paws” at 3300 Carr St. From 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., families can bring their pets to have their photos taken with Santa Claus. Home for the Holidays Finale
